BIOMAGNETIC THERAPIST

Paulina (Pau) is a Mexican Biomagnetic Therapist. She became very passionate about this therapy 10 years ago when her family needed care for health issues. After a few months of using this therapy, Pau noticed a huge health transformation in her life and her families lives. After 2 years in the USA she decided to study and became a therapist due to the lack of Biomagnetic Therapist in the area and her desire to keep treating herself and her family with this technique. Now Pau is passionate about letting others know about Biomagnetism so that they may receive the benefits of this healing modality.

Discovered in 1988, by Dr. Isaac Goiz Duran in Mexico City, the biomagnetic treatment is the placement of two natural magnets of at least 1000 gauss of intensity (optimal is 5000 gauss), for a short period of time, on a specific area of the body to bring the pH to a normal level without adding or subtracting energy to the human organism. It neutralizes the development and growth of pathogenic microorganisms that produce diseases. Biomagnetism treats the etiology, the cause of the problem, not the symptom. This therapy can even treat viral infections by eliminating viruses which traditional medicine can't do.

Massage | skincare

Amy has been a massage therapist since 1993 and an esthetician since 2009. Through both modern and holistic massage and skin care, she lives her passion by helping her clients find true health and well-being. Her intuitive therapeutic massage is both deeply relaxing and healing.

Amy grew up in Florida and moved to Colorado in 1993, searching for adventure. She called Steamboat Springs home for nearly 25 years and recently returned to Florida to be closer to the beaches and family. Amy’s specialties include:

Ashiatsu Deepfeet Bar Therapy – www.deepfeet.com A barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu therapists are able to provide an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the receiving client.

Mayan Abdominal Therapy – www.ArvigoTherapy.com Founded on the ancient Mayan technique of abdominal massage which is an external non-invasive manipulation that repositions internal organs that have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi. The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® address position and health of the pelvic and abdominal organs. The work is best known for the correction of the prolapsed, fallen, or tilted uterus and almost every other uterine condition and for the prevention and treatment of benign prostate enlargement in men, and for relief of many common digestive disorders.

Pre and Perinatal Massage - Expecting a baby is usually joyful, but- to be honest- it is also stressful and can be uncomfortable. Prenatal massage therapy uses techniques designed specifically to address pregnancy’s challenges. Several research studies suggest that pregnancy massage may help to:
  • Encourage relaxation and reduce anxiety
  • Help alleviate muscle and joint pain
  • Improve breathing, digestion and sleep
  • Improve mom and baby’s health by reducing the negative impacts of stress such as gestational hypertension, prematurity and low birth weight
  • Help mom feel more at ease and in touch with herself and her baby
  • Contribute to easier, shorter labors
  • And it feels so good!

After giving birth, massage therapy can help abdominal recovery; reduce the strain of baby care on mom’s body; support satisfying breastfeeding; and nurture mom and her family. Moms who are massaged tend to more quickly and fully touch their babies in loving, nurturing ways, and that leads to a more peaceful world for us all.

Aromatherapy - Also referred to as Essential Oil therapy, aromatherapy is the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. It seeks to unify physiological, psychological and spiritual processes to enhance an individual’s innate healing process.

Skin Care - Amy offers Facials, Backcials, Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion. All services will use Image Skin Care or organic natural products, based on your preference and what your skin needs at the time. Drink plenty of water for several days before a facial to receive optimal results!

massage | Yoga

John Allen's integrally-informed wellness practice combines treatment protocols from Thai yoga massage, neuromuscular and myofascial therapies, Amazonian herbalism, and ayurveda. He specializes in the shamanic applications of bodywork and manual therapies as tools for the release of trauma, conditioning, and the transformation of emotional and behavioral patterns.

John-Allen grew up in rural Pennsylvania where began his study of yoga and mysticism at the age of 11. He was initially inspired after observing his neighbor and childhood friend’s elderly Indian grandfather practicing hathayoga exercise every morning. The same neighbor introduced him to the rich folklore and mythology of South Asia through illustrated english-language children’s editions of the Ramayana and Mahabharata. At age 18 John-Allen moved to Pittsburgh were he began his study of filmmaking, as well as the formal study of Ashtanga yoga. In Pittsburgh he met his first mentor, Ani Drubgyudma, a forest-hermit yogini in the Tibetan tradition, and formed a lifelong bond. Under her tutelage he first engendered an appreciation for a life of contemplation and the value of periods of solitude in the wilderness. Through Ani, he was also introduced to his root teacher Lamchen Gyalpo Rinpoche, who is a renowned Tibetan scholar and yogi in the Drikung Kagyu lineage.

After pursuing a lively career in the fine arts, John-Allen returned to his primary interests and dedicated himself to teaching yoga, while pursuing his studies under the guidance of his teachers. At this time he became a licensed bodyworker and also began organizing pilgrimages and trekking expeditions to Nepal. Realizing that he had an intellectual grasp of the traditions, but still had little experiential understanding, he sought to deepen his study and practice through encountering new teachers and techniques that could penetrate to the core of spiritual meaning. He is currently an apprentice and assistant to Dionisio Santos and Aubrey Bamdad, the founders of Yacumaman Sanctuary for Integral Shamanism in Tarapoto, Peru. John-Allen believes that yoga is a evolutionary technology for cultivating greater authenticity through a deeper understanding our own humanity. It is his mission to share the practices of yoga, shamanism, and bodywork as an integral path to open our hearts to our highest potential as compassionate wisdom-beings in the world. John Allen has recently returned from a two year shamanic apprenticeship in Tarapoto, Peru and is integrating his studies of yoga and bodywork with the practices and techniques of Integral Shamanism, Amazonian vegetalismo, and Ayurveda under the tutelage of Dionisio Santos and Aubrey Bamdad.

massage therapist

Through the years Wendy has always been fascinated with healing. She studied Quantum Touch, Reiki (Certified Reiki Master), and other Hands on Healing modalities; yet, she never felt that she could really sense and address a person's specific problems and needs via 'energy only' methods. Then, one day years later, her husband told her of a Thai Massage retreat coming up. She attended and fell in love with it.

Wendy traveled to Thailand and studied Thai massage with several local master teachers When she returned to the USA, she decided that massage is what she wanted to do. She then studied at the Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage and since then has not stopped studying and learning.

Wendy customizes the massage experience to the needs of the clients. Wendy uses a fusion of Myofascial, Deep Tissue, Thai Massage, Stretching, Cupping, Tok Sen, Dolphin Neuroestim, Auricular, and more.

Wendy's mission is to help you stay healthy, be the BEST; as in Balance, Energize, Stimulate and Transform.
